The Village of Merrillan purchases power from Dairyland Power Cooperative and many other resources including renewable. Each of these sources use many different utility lines owned by different providers to transmit that power to Merrillan. Jackson Electric is our main physical line feed to the Village, if they have an issue on that feeder line, we will have issues in the Village.
