Hello Merrillan Residents!
Some of this should be common sense, but hey, a little reminder never hurts — plus, we like to keep things lively:
The WM dumpster (not the recycling one) at the Village Shop is NOT your personal trash bin. If you’re about to toss a mountain of garbage, please check with the Village first — let’s keep the trash tornadoes in check, shall we?
Village Parks — they’re great for picnics and playing, but don’t forget the posted hours and seasonal closures. And a quick heads-up: these parks are NOT for your dog to do its business and then leave it as a “surprise” for others. Clean up after your four-legged buddy — let’s keep the parks paws-itively fabulous!
Traffic enforcement — seriously, folks, don’t drive with your lights off at night. Whether you’re sneaking out of a driveway or just cruising by, keep those headlights on. It’s 2025 — cameras are everywhere, and no one wants a citation or to become a viral video. Plus, driving blindfolded isn’t exactly a smart move.
Most of us are law-abiding citizens who care about our Village. Let’s all do our part to keep Merrillan shining bright — because a little common sense and humor go a long way! Thanks for being awesome!
